The Picasso 11 apartment is conveniently located on Montcada street in the heart of the Borne. Its’ two bedrooms (one with twin beds and the other bunk beds), and spacious living room with double sofa bed allow this Barcelona vacation rental apartment to accommodate up to six people. The bathroom and the kitchen both come fully equipped. Amenities include heat, air conditioning, washer, sheets, towels, iron, hair dryer, wifi and television. There are also two balconies on which to enjoy some sangría after a long day of exploring. The Picasso 11 apartment is located in the Borne quarter, a charming neighborhood built on top of the medieval jousting arena. It has a character that is unique in and of itself; in recent years this has become one of the hipper, up-and-coming neighborhoods filled with artists and expats. Along its main drag, Passeig del Born, you will find limitless bars and restaurants all which display chalk boards with lower and lower mojito prices. Montcada street is now home to the Picasso Museum and the Textile Museum. Argenteria street offers more restaurants, shops, and the beautiful cathedral Santa María del Mar. Beyond the Borne, the Ramblas and the Cathedral are a five minute walk. If you are in the mood to relax check out the Parc de la Ciutadella, Barcelona’s first public park which is now also home to one of Europe’s largest zoos, two museums and a greenhouse.
